About the Author

Alicia Marie is a 37 year-old author and mother of three daughters, born and raised in a small town in Massachusetts. Her writing is deeply rooted in personal experience, drawing strength and inspiration from surviving toxic and abusive relationships. The Illusion of Us is her debut novel a raw and emotional exploration of love, betrayal, and the illusions we cling to in search of connection.

Through her stories, Alicia gives voice to the silent struggles many endure behind closed doors, creating characters that are both flawed and fiercely human. She hopes her work empowers others to recognize their worth, reclaim their voice, and find healing through honesty and storytelling.

Raw, Real , and impossible to put down! It pulled me into her world and was impossible to put down! An amazing read for anyone that has ever experienced narcissism in a relationship.

One of the most honest books I have ever read! You can feel the story is real, and feel the pain behind it. If you have ever been involved with a narcissist you will know how real this is the second you read it and you won't be able to put it down!
